The Ohio State University Center for Continuing Medical Education runs conferences, grand rounds and online courses for physicians and other healthcare professionals. We built and maintain the shopping cart and checkout behind registration.

The challenge
CCME registrations come in all year for conferences, grand rounds and online activities, each with its own pricing tiers for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and other professionals. Payments have to work every time, and the card processor behind them has changed its code and platform more than once.
What we built
A shopping cart where learners review their registrations, apply promo codes and check out. Payments are processed through a secure online portal, and no payment information is stored with CCME.

The result
When the processor changes its platform, we update the integration ahead of its timelines, so registration never stops. CCME reports no identity theft or security issues to date.
